Have you ever been to Lithuania? Would you try pig ears? What is the craziest thing you have eaten while abroad?
@brooklynasz

You definitely overreacted trying pigs ears. It's not that bad. Actually not bad at all. Perfect beer snack. Smoky flavor, crunchy. Might be just a fact that you eating pigs ear that put you off. I mean... Everyone loves pork crackling (rinds) So it's the same thing, but more smoky and natural flavors

Oh good! I’m so glad there is a fellow museum lover here! I find knowing the history of a place really gives me a better understanding of the people, culture and how things came to be. Gives a deeper meaning for sure. YES! It was COLD being there in November, but the meals help stave off the winter for sure

Really great footage and I appreciate the information. We are trekkers and anthropologists. So, we definitely feel your channel. Subed to see more.We are excited to be planning an April trip to the Balkans and Vilnius is 3-4 days of the trip, as a scouting/filming adventure for our World tour.. Thank you for the inspiration. Exploring during the winter is commendable. Nature is still sleeping, thus Vilnius looks a bit bleak and people from the lack of sunlight can be grumpy :D

I thought it was still beautiful though personally! I mean Europe has so much history and so many difference in culture. I agree that spring/summer/fall is great, BUT off season is a bit cheaper too and was there during Christmas so it was kinda fun to see all the decorations going up.

You can say about history of the three crosses of vilnius thanks
😂 Especially with how cold the winter is there I feel like Cepelinai is a basic food group! When in Lithuania in winter there is no such thing as cholesterol in food, lol. It was more the cracklins I was speaking about, but even then, you can't go wrong with bacon ;)

Can I ask do any of the churches have any canonnized nuns in their churches? If that is the right term for it?or any saints ?

Ya know, that’s a great question. I don’t know the answer tbh. Other than Saint Casimir and the rumor of the shroud of Turin - that’s all I know. I think when the Russian occupation happened a lot Of things were destroyed within the churches

No I didn’t unfortunately :-( I really do want to go back, before I went everyone said “what’s in Lithuania except meat and potatoes” but honestly I REALLY loved it and found the history to be the most fascinating part, but clearly ‘people’ were grossly wrong about Vilnius
