The best of the thing you want is just outside of your budget. The second best is the one in your budget after you decide which compromises can be made.

I found a wireless unit with a range of 5.8 Ghz. I know that the more hz there are the faster the wave itself moves (in a sense). But would it increase the amount of working distance when you're performing?

Not necessarily.

all EM waves travel at 300000000 meters per second in a vacuum and a shade below that in air. frequency is how many peaks go past a point in a second so depends on wave speed but in this example is determined by how close the peaks are to each other

I believe 5Ghz struggles more after longer distances and through walls but it's not a problem if you're within like 40-50 feet of it. 2.4 is better for longer ranges but will likely not be quite as responsive (though both will work just fine nowadays assuming you get a newer one. Plenty of bands like Metallica and whatnot have been using wireless systems since the 2000s)

Hey, I have a specific question I've had on my mind which I feel like asking: So, I used to be in an orchestra, but I moved and went to a school which only had a band program, so I joined and am now the band's only violin player. I would like to know if there is a way to add any form of pickup to acoustic violins (in general), or otherwise if it would be too hard to transition to/get an electric violin. I also want to know- is it fun playing an electric violin? What's different?

I would definitely look at a KNA pickup. It's easy to put on (and take off). Then you'd probably need a small amp like a Fishman Loudbox Mini.

I have a larger amp which I occasionally use for guitar, would using that larger amp work, or does it need to be the smaller and more controlled amp

Better isn't a thing. Is a screwdriver better than a hammer? It depends on whether you're trying to turn a screw or pound a nail.

If you can't plug it in, we don't carry it. Find a lane, be the best in the world in that lane, and then stay in it.

I love that white and gray violin on the back wall. It looks amazing. What’s up with that one?
