I am with you on almost everything that you said about this Jeep. I took the same model out for a test drive about a week ago and loved the sound and torque of the diesel, the interior was ok (the stereo is better than my 2017 Tacoma), but the mirrors were tiny and not that great for visibility, the drivers footwell was small with no dead pedal and the price OMG was crazy. Here in Canada, the truck was $85,000 Canadian and once you through something like a tonneau cover on, some auxiliary lights and a winch this puppy is at the $100,000 mark with taxes. It’s hard to justify that kind of dough for a mid size pickup...

I owned Jeeps from 1986 to 2019 and loved them until every one of them at around 130,000 miles would have electrical and transmission problems. And from others I talked to I was lucky. Jeep reliability is horrible, maybe this will change with this one. I love diesels too so this must be a blast to drive but 67K!!! I switched to a 4Runner now and couldn't be happier. It should go about 300,000 miles before it needs any serious work. I'll be dead by then lol! I put Wildpeaks on my 4Runner, they are fantastic tires, Jeep got that one right for sure!

Well electronic ebrake sucks for many reasons, most notably because it's an electronic component and a crucial one at that. The other reason being that it won't let you save yourself on slippery turns, it's a safety hazard. The thing only works well for people who dislike driving, it protects them from themselves, you know the crowd that never uses ebrake and let's the vehicle just roll in park mode or those who think they're in need for speed, it'll just stop the vehicle rather than endanger their driving. But for those of us who enjoy driving, especially manual transmission equipped vehicles, a hand brake is a must. Looking at you Honda (put that hand brake back in Si and R civics)

On rough, steep terrain, a part-time four-wheel-drive truck is extra useless in two-wheel-drive. There's an extra 200-400 lbs. of front weight plowing along -- doing nothing -- far away from the rear axle. Driving slow on rough, steep terrain in four high is a fantastic way to cook the transmission fluid. Four low adds more control and is much safer on rough, steep terrain.
