War stamps didn't stop her from swiping the Macy's card twice in the dress department.

Wonderful! She was a erson of depth. She had a long lasting career but she had to fight for it. A great actress!

That is parenting! Seriously we can take an example from this clip when it comes to teaching our kids the meaning of responsibility and sacrifice.

This was back when people knew how to communicate. They spoke and listened calmly, not so quick and eager to interrupt like people of today. They had the empathy to curb mindless rambling and the understanding that communication is an art of courteous give and take. Wish I was around back then.

OMG, she is so over-the-top, batting those saucer frog-eyes of hers. You'd think she was performing a script by Chekhov or Ibsen here. What an over-rated ham!

Sacrifice. We used to have it as a value. It's something the rich need to do to fix the crisis they caused....and stop whining like little kids, while they are at it.

Bette Davis was a great patriot and it shows in this video and in the founding of the Hollywood Canteen. She is an inspiration to all of us and a woman of many admirable quialities. She looks absolutely beautiful as the mother in this sketch. Love those eyes! We love you Bette!
