Thank you. I just wish I had a camera man that day to show how big and cool that beds was. It was hard to show the whole thing filming myself.

Good stuff . I hunt big woods of northern wisconsin and UP . I ve found some good beds but not to many worn down like that. Would you say that deer beds that spot year round ? Im more of a rut transition guy but have been trying to dial in beds for the early season here in wisconsin. Keep posting your stuff it’s good and makes sense even to me here in wisco

Thanks for watching. I don't think so unless the food source for spring/summer is close by, I mean they can be if the parcel is small and not many bedding locations. Beds are definitely food related come spring and summer so the can pack on the pounds. Then they switch according to fall food and hunting pressure.

Just curious Greg, how close to that bed will you look for a tree for a sit? Will it depend on how far you think he can see from the bed or will it be based more on noise so he does not hear you? Thanks for a great video!

This area will be super thick come October so I'll get 80yds or so for an evening sit. I don't know if a mature buck will wander too far from his bed during shooting light. This area has crazy pressure so movement will be minimum. I'll try and wait for a good moon and weather front if possible before I hunt it.

@@bowhuntingfiend7098 One more as I am watching this again!!! You found balloons nearby and most of us know the theory that goes with that. I have found balloons in woods by me in the big woods I hunt. When you find those does an alarm go off in your head and you start paying more attention or are you likely to find them in an area where you already suspect bedding to be? I hunt National Forest, thousands of public acreage. Just to reference what I mean when I say big woods. Everyone seems to have their own definition!

When I find balloons, I only get excited when I find a bunch/few in a small area and when they are all from different time frame, faded old balloon and new balloons. This I think is the key multiple sets of balloons, a random single balloon I usually keep walking.
