Always great to see new Big Z content! Not only entertained by his sheer strength and calm demeanor, but I always pick something up to help my own training. I use bands around the knees to warm up, but hadn't considered using one during all sets, and I have a nagging adductor strain that won't go away. Going to give it a shot! Thanks Z!

Just a solid leg workout to emulate or base workouts around. Obviously not the weight but the movements. Start - Compound movement going heavy, then concentrate on other muscles. There is a video with hip thrusts on this Chanel where he goes massive heavy. The best advice here (and previously on other videos) for me is in the understated details. Don’t rush. Strong Glutes make for a strong squat. Go as heavy as you feel. Pushing more reps builds stamina. Lots of sets. Lots of reps. Short rest. And Big Z hints at changing exercises regularly. See he’s not locking out the knees on the leg press (common rookie mistake I see sometimes). His breathing is just perfect and uniform every rep. I love the way he just imparts knowledge subtly without the BS. These videos are simply filled with gold. Solid, champion grade gold for any lifter.

Agreed. I have been building weight to push personal best every week, and 2 just minutes rest between sets. I’m building muscle and loosing fat - many said it can’t be done. You either build muscle - or - loose weight. Short rest spikes the heart rate, builds stamina and fitness - heavy weight builds strength. I’m getting all round stronger, fitter, leaner and can say… it works.
@davidleon9206

@@PaterExcelsior Yes, and I found what Big Z said is valid ; about 3 minutes max rest for your max sets but otherwise 1 to 2 minutes rests for warm up and submaximal sets.The result is that I'm getting stronger in 30 minutes than I was in 1.5 to 2.5 hours when I took long rests.I'm fitter too at the same time and got conditioned to short rest periods. I honestly dont even feel much cortisol kicking in afterwards even though the workout feels like a sprint but ready for heavy sets after 10 to 12 minutes it's all about high stimulus/low fatigue. I do supersets to get the accessories done quickly. 30m max strength workout atm and can manage 30 sets on lighter days and 20 to 25 sets on heavy lifting days.I never thought 30 minutes was enough but it works for me too.
