Best thing to do is to learn to let go. Wasting time thinking about someone that does not want you, is not good. There is a lot of woman out there. My advice is to learn to let go and just enjoy your life.

*_Very true. However, the vast majority of today's women are opportunistic & hypergamous. They're always keeping their eyes peeled for the next, bigger, better thing. It's nothing new but it's much more ubiquitous today's. Watch the scene from The Mask 🎭 starring Jim Carrey, where Cameron Diaz 1st walks into the bank 🏦 he works at. Listen to what comedian Richard Jeni tell Jim after she leaves (the "BBD" part)._* 🤔

I love Bill. True story, in my senior year of college I met a stunning young woman, who later went on to be an A list Hollywood actress. Fell madly in love with her, best year of my life. She transferred to far away uni on the west coast. We stayed in touch, but distance, time, our age, - it had to end - she finally dumped me - in a really shitty way. Felt horrible for decades, "the one that got away". Never let yourself be defined by someone else - that's why they use the term "madly in love". All things have a shelf life, you pets (sadly), people, possessions. All things in the universe are temporary. Watching Netflix last week - there she is, didn't bother me - guess I'm getting better (after nearly 40 years )😄

buddy, the thing is you though she was only talking to you, when in fact you may have been the number two choice from the beginning. So she kept her cards close to the chest, led you on until she had the 100% confirmation the other guy was into her as well. Anyways, accept it -rejection- and move on. But the most important thing is to LEARN from it.

I think that’s sound advice. I would have said let it go. It’s not even worth getting worked up over. I had a girlfriend who waited till I was in Japan to break up with me. Had another one who didn’t even tell me we were broken up. Yeah, you dodged a bullet big time, bro.

I'm 53. You never will, man. It sounds depressing, but not if you focus on yourself and practice whatever skills you possess. Try not to go through life thinking the perfect one is out there. Not saying it cannot happen, but it's extremely rare and will drive you insane looking.
