Oh the early 80s, first girlfriends, first real kisses, late night landline telephone conversations, faded Levi’s 501s, rock concert tees, mullets, big hair, Rubik’s Cubes, Sony Walkmans, Miami Vice, Three’s Company, Knight Rider, Hacky Sacks, Steve Martin arrow through the head, and trying to record Billy Squier songs directly from the ghetto blaster to the cassette tape. Did I forget anything? Oh I want to go back.

Many moons ago during the great conquests, I was with my soon to be favorite wife. Billy & the band did an outdoor show in Tulsa on the river. I talked the now Mrs. Clark into going & we had seats down close. She had no idea of what to expect but when the 1st band started up, she was shocked at the volume. I said, "This is nothing." & handed her ear plugs. She suffered thru that but when Billy hit the stage it was deafening. The show was amazing & I loved it, but Mrs. Clark was in pain. She lasted, but said never again. 2 years later we were in Norman, OK for the Stones "Bridges" tour, 10 rows back center. I again got out the ear plugs which she used, but this time she boogied, dancing in the isles & into the mood. Now we're 70 & listen to quiet music on the educational channel. Oh well, thank god for KZitem videos.
