On the day when I was wandering around Ikseon-dong and Iksa-dong, I came to this small beautiful Traditional Korean Tea house called Tteuran.
We went inside, and the owner of the tea house was so lovely and friendly that we decided to come here for our Korean Traditional Tea House experience the next day.
Visiting traditional tea house is a good thing to do while in Seoul because it not only gives you the chance to experience some Korean history and culture but also to try some delicious Korean traditional desserts.
We tried some very traditional teas (Ssanghwa herbal tea and Omija tea), many traditional sweet snacks and rice cakes (Yugwa, Tteok, Gotgamssam, Gangjeong, Yakgwa) and the absolute star, the Patbingsu.
The lady who owns the tea house is absolutely proud of the top quality of everything she offers, and she also makes her own red bean paste for the Patbingsu.
I love it when people put their heart into what they are doing, and the love for her craft radiates through the walls of this lovely tea house.
