Detailed lecture on Biomechanics and Pathomechanics of Knee Complex Flexors. The flexor's of knee are 7 in number and they are HAMSTRINGS, SARTORIUS, GASTRONEMIUS, GRACILIS & POPLITEUS. In some individuals there is an additional muscle known as PLANTARIS. Each of this muscles have individual role in knee flexion and their efficiency, activation peak, etc varies from one another.
Biomechanics and Pathomechanics of each of them are discussed in detail focusing on their role, effect of tightness, effect of weakness etc on knee complex. There is detailed discussion on HAMSTRINGS about there role in both KNEE AND HIP JOINTS.
Discussion also deals with role of SOLEUS, GLUETUS MAXIMUS etc on knee flexion.
TIME CODES:
• KNEE FLEXORS : 1:20
• HAMSTRING: 3:15
• HAMSTRING PATHOMECHANICS: 10:40
• GASTRONEMIUS: 19:05
• SARTORIUS: 21:30
• GRACILIS: 24:23
• POPLITEUS: 27:05
• ROLE OF SOLEUS & GLUTEUS MAXIMUS: 29:20
