I love the handle bars. Most American ones have horrible high and wide bars. I bought one brand new, put flat bars, handle bar sports fairing, Panniers and 2 Cibie Oscer driving lights. My wife and I went on our honey moon on it.

Love the tripples! I have an xs850 mildly cafed, put 2,000 miles on it last summer! And never seen another on the road!

Ha! your right. That was a fresh build so LOTS of things got tightened after that first ride. That is a MAC exhaust, it sounds so good. Just enough growl and it can sound super gnarly if you open it up.

I believe it's a 78 or 79. Stock tank, one of the nicest stock tanks I've seen. Has a really nice subtle ridge in the middle.

I recognize that gas tank. I had a 1978 XS750 F standard with that exact same gas tank. Got rid of the bike 8 years or so ago and have regretted it ever since

This was still a work in progress, he's had the seat upholstered and mounted a brake light in the seat. It looks sharp.

Nice triple, great balance of tank to seat area, hard to pull off with this bike. Anybody know what Fork's he's using? Would love to replace mine with some like he's running with the axle mount in the center of the fork instead of offset in front like the stock forks. So anybody know what Forks those are or any other that fit the stock triple clamps?

I'll try to get him to post some pics, I actually just moved from Chicago, there is another short video of him riding it in my profile, I can't post a link to it in a comment (youtube rules, can't post a url) but search for "Bito's XS 750 Cafe Racer - First Ride"

Those are stock forks. What year is your XS? That's a 750 too, the 650's are a lot more common.

Did anyone else notice that when he said crank it, that two little nuts came off near the exhaust?
