Literally an album that formed me as a person... my sis gave me this on a tape back in the 90s and this is what i would ride my bike to school in the rain. As a kid around 15-17 yr old. It shaped everything, ruled everything, expanded my mind so immensely. I loved it. Even riding my bike uphill to school, with all the assholes in my class, it didnt matter cuz I had the kick ass drops in this song..... So, whoever made this tune, thank you because you made my life a lot better.

BicycleOfDeath I understand where you're coming from. I started listening to John Peel in 1993 and he opened my ears to top notch electronica. I was going through a bad patch with my health but hearing people like The Black Dog, B12, Autechre, Drome etc pretty much kept me sane. The wonder of music.

My dad got this album when I was around 10 and I would listen to it on big headphones. It definitely left a mark that's for sure. It was like nothing I'd heard before (I was probably obsessed with Daft Punk and Radiohead at the time). It wasn't long before my older sister introduced me to the likes of Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Plaid of course, Brothomstates, Luke Vibert... and then the various alias' of Drexciya. That era of music really blew my mind. It wasn't drugs either. Looking back I think it was the disconnect from society I felt from the mental illness. Always looking for that blend of introspection and oddity.

I still come back to this track after all these years. It’s like an acid opera, a simply glorious track.

What a wonderful album this is, and this track is almost a mini album in itself with so much going on - still blows my mind over 20 years since I first heard it. Love the other comments on here, much love.

Have no idea how this passed me by in the '90's. Oh,ok yeah I might have an inkling ! Scraped on the side of FSOL and ORB but always found it a bit pedestrian. This on the other hand ! Was into Vir2l at the time. This album is so complex and layered,it keeps sucking you back in. A masterpiece.

Well I'm late to the party, but holy shit this song is incredible. I thought the Artificial Intelligence albums were the best collection of this kind of music, but I completely missed out on this magic. Absolute masterpiece.

This track was my first musical encounter with The Black Dog, decades ago. As impressive as my first encounter with Kraftwerk. It has lost absolutely nothing of its outstanding quality (something that characterizes most of their work, actually) A MUST for every electronic music fan.

The intro sounds a bit like the music in the Blade Runner bar scene.
