Sheesh guys, if you're going to do a 'debunk', it's got to be better than the 200+ year old worn-out tropes and gaslighting. Any old Ward Radio video blows this apart in minutes. (why did I think there was going to be anything new in this....)

When you have nothing but lame man made doctrines, you have to go around trying to tear down the truth that you feel threatened by. You have nothing to offer. The restored gospel can be recognized by its fruits.

The chief priests and elders of Israel condemned Christ with the same accusation. A prophet is a revelator meaning he can reveal truth not previously known. Just because something Joseph taught doesnt agree with your preconceived doctrines doesnt equate it to blasphemy. Christ appeared to Joseph condemning all Christian sects. Christ’s criticism of the Christian world as recorded by Joseph was “that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.” It is because of this corruption people dismiss Christ in our day. Joseph was commanded by Christ and the whole of humanity will know it at a future point. You can know a prophet by his fruits, and Joseph setup a church with a government matching that of the one Christ established during his earthly ministry, restored the authority and offices of the priesthood of the kingdom of Israel back to the earth, brought forth multiple books of scripture, and restored the building of temples and the ordinances practiced therein as were had anciently. All of this while being persecuted, defamed, threatened, and physically assaulted throughout his life. He was martyred for his unwavering discipleship of Christ and is still being defamed to this day by the world.

These quotes are directly from the King Follett Sermon. Teachings from that sermon are in the LDS belief system today.. There is nothing to contest.

😂 is that all you have? The last one is taken out of context. Haha everything else say we can come like God and even Jesus taught that. So was Christ blasphemous as well? I think not. Bless you for trying though. If you need someone to help you move, cut up a fallen branch or a nice home meal look us up.

The Bible can be interpreted in many ways. These sentences are anyway taken out of context, and are not clearly LDS beliefs.

All these quotes were written after Joseph's murder. Each one of the 5 who wrote about this were polygamists who were Joseph's enemies. So believe what you will. Brigham said these kind of things all the time though.

If Christ was a man and became glorified as his father, and did only those things his father did… and then taught we ma receive the same inheritance as Christ to inherit heaven… then… isn’t this a reasonable conclusion. He only taught what Christ taught. And you misquote.

My rule will always remain the same. If you are not talking to a person of the other faith when you are saying they are wrong then you are not worth even listening to. This goes for any channel that talks about another faith. Do it face to face if you want to prove you are right . Also you people sound like dead clones. 😂

These Blasphemous claims totally deconstruct the Mormon faith. If there was a great apostasy… which I doubt… they restored nothing. Plus… I must add… it took me a minute to realize that these voices are AI Generated Text to Speech… that’s kinda off putting but it is what it is.

The great apostasy is very evident looking at the History

Most of these in the video take the statements and/or the The Bible out of context. The only people who should be thinking there never was a great apostasy are Catholics. Otherwise, no other group has a leg to stand on. If there was no great apostasy, then Orthodox would have had no reason to break away from Rome in the 11th Century. Same could be said of Martin Luther or John Calvin in the 16th Century. Yet, in the 4th Century, the State and the Church were combined. The actions of the Nicenes with those they disagreed with demonstrate that they no longer had the spirit of Christ by using the power of the State against those who opposed them.

@@Charistoph Eh Pre-Nicene Orthodoxy does seem different than today’s Orthodoxy but… it’s hard to say he’s taking Joseph Smith out of context. Saying God became God, Marriage is Eternal and that a Prophet did greater work than Jesus denies Pre-Nicene orthodoxy too. Like severely. It’s basically Islam if they believed Jesus was actually the Son of God … Which is why I say even if there was an apostasy the LDS cannot be the Restoration of it. Because they’re “restoring” certain things that were never lost because they were never a part of your faith.

@@CharistophThere never was a time when all believers were Catholic. True Christianity continued on in different parts of the world from the time of Christ up until today.

@@truthbebold4009, I didn't say otherwise. However, I pointed out those who separated themselves from Rome a notable time after the Council of Nicaea would only have a valid reason to do so if Rome had apostatized.
