As part of my continued E46 maintenance series, I wanted to share how to flush your brakes. This process though is good for almost any car so feel free to use anywhere.
As always, be VERY CAREFUL when jacking up your car and ALWAYS use jack stands. I know I say that I lot but it is really important that you don't trust your life to a cheap hydraulic cylinder or worse, the jack that is in your trunk.
This process really isn't hard though, and is a simple but vital maintenance item for your car. Be careful not to spill brake fluid onto any surface or your paint, and if you do, clean it immediately.
I have all of the tools and items I used listed below, but always check your owners manual or model specific info for which brake fluid to use.
