Excellent....I had no idea that the muffler would have to come off, I assumed the tire removal was something that could be done on the road side with just one tool to remove the wheel!

BMW DOES NOT HAVE A 1/2" nut ANYWHERE on the bike. It is 100% metric. That proper size is 13mm.

@ralaurenzi, Thanks for your comment. You are correct that it’s metric! However, given this application, I found that a half inch socket fit closer to spec on the nut than a 13mm socket which had a lot more play. To all who watch the video, use your own discretion as to which works best for you application. Cheers!

1/2 worked like a charm. I also raised a metric eyebrow but the imperial did the job perfectly.

Didn't just twist; removed. Nut back there, bolt on front side.
