After hiking 35km the day before to the southern most tip of mainland Australia, Wilson's Prom, I decide to sit back with Wanderer Adventures and rest in one of their boats.
Leaving directly from Norman Beach we head out to South Point and I get to see the tip of mainland Australia from the ocean. Passing secluded beaches and rugged coastlines we stop to admire two Sea Eagles and then continue down to Wilson's Promontory Lightstation. Following our noses we visit one of the largest seal colonies in Australia and then head to Skull Rock.
One of the natural wonders of the world, there are no words to describe Skull Rock - you just have to see it.
After 2.5 hours we are back on land and I hike Wilson's Prom Wildlife Walk. It's here I see emu feeding, kangaroos and wallabies in close proximity.
For a final hike I set out to explore Cotters Beach, it's sea cave, rare Hooded Plovers and I nearly tread on a sleepy snake.
What a wonderful few days.
