Marvelous performer and a wonderful person to know. I played the drums for Bobbie in her production shows in Las Vegas back in 1977 and 1978. In '77, we played at eh Frontier Hotel and in '78 we played at the Aladdin Hotel and Jim Stafford performed with Bobbie in the show.

Bobbie Gentry's charisma, command of the stage and above all sheer talent is legendary. And here it is all on display. Thank you.

What a thrill! She opened her live show with He Made A Woman Out of Me just like this; slinking on to the stage barefooted in halter top and jeans, top button undone. I like this installment better than the others I've seen. It seems she hit her stride with this show.

Thanks for posting this. Do you know the name of the instrumental tune Mason Williams played starting near 17.52? It had overtones of Classical Gas but obviously wasn't that.

Sounds like an improvised Fantasia on "Greensleeves"

@@stepno Thank you. I was watching "Licorice Pizza" and they played the version of Greensleeves by Mason which of course has other instrumentation on it but I recognised it as roughly what he played solo on this show.
