After watching and listening to this video, I agree with all of you that it sounds like shit. However, I need to tell you that in my "In-Ear Monitors", there was so little sound from the Band, and my Microphone sounded like it was not even turned on. I couldn't hear one word I was trying to sing there. It felt like I was screaming into a pillow with no sound from the Microphone in my Monitors. I'm going to click on the "Thumbs-Down" button too. Anytime my Monitors are this terrible, I won't do the Concert. I didn't enjoy not being able to hear my Mic. on this Concert. I'm with you all about this crap.

***** - No matter how good a band are, if you have a bad sound engineer/monitor engineer, you're going to sound crap - we've all been there and it's very frustrating. We know what you can do so ignore the haters. As we get older, our voices get lower unless one does some serious vocal warm-ups/proven exercises - the raw talent is obviously there, however maybe you need some vocal coaching to prevent bad habits which have built up of the years. Even the oldest and best sounding sax needs an overhaul occasionally. :-)

Guy P Hi Guy. I just went to a University Hospital yesterday in Germany, and spent about 3 hours with a brilliant Vocal Doctor. He did so muc h work on my Vocal Cords, and then we checked out the best Vocal Warm-Up details I've ever seen. After we worked on that for a while, I was singing notes like I never could in my whole life. Now I'll be able to sing anything i want, better that I ever have. This is going to be so much fun for me, and I can't wait to use all of his information that I learned. Take care guy, and I hope you're doing well....Bobby

I like that bass solo. It's an icing on a cake, like a secret ingredient of a musical train wreck. No matter how bad your performance as a band is already, it is ALWAYS possible to make it just a little bit worse with some random solo shredding.

This is very sad. I love Bobby and I think he should realize that some things just can't be done anymore. That's the normal course of life. He's toured with Toto for years and years, and I think he's got the ear to understand what can and what can't be done; I believe he should stick to playing keyboards, which he can do, and sing low parts.

Mr. Neptune Blue In Bobby's defense: Tommy Denander, a very good guitarist with whose "badly expressed opinions" I mostly NEVER AGREE, says Bobby is near deaf (that's pretty common for musicians, unfortunately) and has implants to hear. Pair that with bad monitoring, and you can actually get this kind of bad performances. Still, having seen lots of Bobby footages, I still stand on my point. Some things he just can't do them anymore, that's not a crime.

Mr. Neptune Blue If he's mostly deaf, that would explain a lot. But it's astonishingly bad and embarrassing. Especially for the legacy of a band known for "precision" like Toto.

That's part of the reasin he's not with Toto anymore. Bobby is a nice guy but he and his crew should understand that it's probably time to retire. Denander's madness doesn't help the case, as well.

Lorenz Müller Some people that have performed with him in recent years have said that his hearing is very poor and he's very likely close to being completely deaf. Unfortunately hearing loss is a fairly common problem for musicians.

Acabei de ver uma matéria que diz que ele estaria com "demência". Isso explicaria a desafinação bizarra no vídeo. É uma pena. Pra mim, é o maior vocalista que a banda Toto já teve! Desejo a ele muita saúde!
