Best video ever for demonstrating not only sequence, but the roles/positions of each hand.

Hi Michael......just had to tell you......went to range ....set up, a very tight rotation, , external rotation of rt arm and hold the 7...those techniques made everything fall into place and I instantly gained significant distances.....control was excellent also.......thanks so much

Hi, I’ve been trying this out at the range the last couple of days and I’ve been hitting it great. Sometimes a slight overdraw/pull but all in all I’ve been very happy, thank you

I appreciate this video. What moves and when should be the hallmark of all instruction. Thx.

I agree with CW, brilliant! I've been using a dumbbell (12lbs) and slowly turning to see howw the bodynaturally wants to support the club and arm unit. I still want to pull down or cast with the right, the weight instantly exposes that flaw. Mike, this presentation directed my awareness toward the "sequencing", side bend, reverse K, angular momentum, the punch, the sticks, leverage and the whip! The pieces are starting to fit together with more permanent regularity!

Michael. Brilliant. Your most integrated explanation to date. Thanks , I can’t wait to implement it into my practice routine

It's very simple when you realize it's just motion. As you go through the process it becomes less complex. These drills allow you to feel and get feedback to if your body motion is balanced and can accept those 40 lbs of arms flying around. All the while hitting the same low spot even without looking. Once you get to that stage it's time to open your eyes to what you've always been capable of. Just remember 1234 is the key.

30 degrees you speak about with the secondary spine tilt?

Michael, in this video, I notice with your 'right-side' bend on your backswing your right elbow remains close to your right HP.

It is key.....Watch next video coming out with Hawaiian Mike in it. Very long video but worth the time to watch it all. Should be out today.

When did you change your mind on this, and have you applied it to your own swing?
@michaelbroderick

@@thomasdavico3107 I can do either. I prefer the higher arm. I take advantage of gravity. The elbow however returns to the exact same place on the torso. Its a fundamental. I show both to students. Its a preference. I can't feel my arm when it gets up there. Old baseball habit.

Mike: Do you still use a more underneath grip with the trail hand in your swing? Thanks.

Yes

Hi again. Should I no longer assume the K position at address, or does the rock a baby turn do that automatically?
@michaelbroderick

Stay neutral. Stand straight up at address. Notice how if you bring left elbow to rt pocket your rt side bends. Neutral to K automatically.

I see you operate on a single plane. Will the outcome differ if we operate on a two plane

You can get the same results although I recommend the less you adjust the more efficient you'll be because no compensation will be necessary. The most important thing is the downswing. Aiming the butt cap at a ball as your elbow tucks really helps.
