Thumbs down to the jeep driver, even if you were the family, you were driving very close and very dangerously behind the ambulance!

@@werewolflover8636 As a former EMS crewman, I appreciate Betty's comment. It's dangerous to follow an ambulance closely. Dangerous for the patient, ambulance crew, & people tailgating. Crashes involving emergency vehicles are more common than for other vehicles. We can all appreciate the patient's family is probably anxious & worried about their loved one but a chain-reaction crash will not improve the situation.

Something tells me the Jeep is related to the patient in the ambulance in some form, otherwise they wouldn't have their hazard lights on like that

Most likely a volunteer EMS or First Responder going to hospital for assist. Patients are not allowed to follow the ambulance no matter what.

I've never seen light-heads with failed LED modules. Looks like the light-heads are from Code 3.

Only fire apparatus may have mechanical sirens in most of New England. Thank heavens. Think about this: NE towns & cities are much tighter with typical homes right out to the sidewalks. Streets are narrow & crowded. EVERYONE in a four block plus radius knows you're coming & will try to make way. Blasting a Q only serves to harm people's hearing, stress out other drivers, & piss off the neighbors since there are more hospitals in Boston per square mile than most other places in the US. I used to work at two, Brigham & Women's and later Boston Medical Center which is an amalgamation of four hospitals.

WOW! Now that is a beast Ambulance right there! I heard a hissing sound every time the rig went over a bump...does it have a special shock absorbing suspension to prevent any bumps while transporting the patient? Or is it to keep the ride stable?

+Greater Toronto Area Emergency Videography Just normal commercial truck air suspension. Standard on the chassis.

It's possible they do have custom suspension just because this is a pediatric unit.
