A 12 volt testing cord with a buzzer comes in really handy to diagnose electrical issues.

100% recommend putting an anderson plug on the headboard of ute trays, on every ute. Cig plugs are too limited and unreliable. I have a 12v ozito pump on my fire fighter to use it for spot spraying/filling small things. Plugs into anderson plug and is universal across all utes. As Long as its got a midi fuse and big cables its a great thing

JH you certainly have a top worker there in Henry. He can drive anything and seems to be able to fix anything. He might be camera shy but would love to know a bit more about him

Should be able to see if there’s continuity when checking fuses or use a test light on top of the fuses without pulling them. Maybe need to add a little led light or a lighted switch to the switch box to see if it’s getting

You are using the in correct plug. Take the red thingy off the end and it should work. that , or replace the plug with a STD cigi plug

Fuse box in the ute. Get a test light a touch the two contacts on the back of the blade fuses . If you have power on both contacts it's not that fuse. Simple.

Why don’t you install 80 solar panels on most of your trucks with a charge controller. I did it for a friends equipment saved him thousand on batteries and frustration top tip
@tomsbrookfarm
Ай бұрын
We do actually do this on the trucks (apart from wally) but we find the trucks have other power draws that suck the power and drain the battery. The other thing is that they "should" be parked away in the sheds when ever possible and then obviously aren't getting the sun to charge the batteries
