For those who may be wondering, I can attest of the great service with these fine folks at GetawayToday. I have used them on multiple occasions, and their service has been phenomenal. I even cause myself a major issue once with my tickets, and they graciously helped me out in a matter of minutes, on a Saturday. AS I WALKED TO GATES at Disneyland. Honestly, 6 stars out of 5!

I was once a DL passholder for many years, until 2023. It's just so unfortunate that Disney has increased the pricing so dramatically, that I can no longer justify the expense for my budget. At the time, it wasn't even about the annual increases, but it was about no longer making available a pass with no block out dates. When they took that away, and increased the price of a pass, that no longer made financial sense to me. I'm a new grandpa of a grandson that will be turning 2 years old in December and when he's old enough to appreciate Disneyland, I'm afraid I won't be able to afford to take him there for the first time ☹. I appreciate all you do Chris. I am a big fan of your channel. Thank you.

If people could just stop going to a Disney park for awhile, Disney might get the hint. But people can't, they are addicted to Disney, which in turn allows Disney to continually raise prices. It's the park goers that are doing this to themselves. Everyone who still frequents the parks has no reason to complain. You are the problem, not Disney. Disney knows people will still go to the parks no matter how much they raise prices. Another win for Disney, and ANOTHER self inflicted loss to the consumer.

We will now visit WDW but can't go that often (like we did at DL). So Disney is losing our money and favor. We went to Hawaii this year and are planning an Alaska Cruise next year - non-Disney trips. I am so angry!!!! WTH Disney? I was considering taking a 4-5 day trip with my son to Dland in 2025, but not doing it now. I’ll just use the money to take a trip to Mexico or someplace tropical. I love my Dland so much and have been missing it horribly since moving away from SoCal 7 years ago (former pass holder for many years), but I can’t justify the prices for it any longer. Just when you think it can’t get any more ridiculous, it does.

What are they thinking? Goodbye Disneyland, hello Knotts Berry Farm and Universal Studios. I can not believe the hubris of whoever made this decision.

Time to get rid of Iger and the bunch of them! I cry for the families that want to take their families. I'm a Grandma that loved taking Grandkids to Disneyland. But I can't afford to take myself!

I will probably never go to Disneyland again. It's already been years. If six of us go: me, my wife, two daughters, granddaughter and SIL, , it's almost $3000 for two days. That doesn't even count food. We live close enough to not have to get a hotel but if we had to get two rooms, you'd be another $300-500 on top of that. Just to show up.

VOTE with your pocketbook folks! If you keep paying the higher prices, Disney will keep increasing them!

The only way Disney will stop these crazy price hikes, the people must speak with their wallets. Unfortunately, most locals who visit Disney frequently will pay the increase.

But why again??? It’s getting out of hand! Is it cause of the new park being build? The economy? I’m probably most likely have to let go of my yearly pass…😢

Everyone's got their eyes on the WDW hurricane. So....Disney raises the prices in Anaheim. So shady.

That $50 kids special, they have to be done by March 20. So if anyone buys multiple days of tickets for $50, they can’t use them after March 20.

Honestly, I think they are pricing the magic right out of the park. I fell in love with a Disney that no longer exists. EVERYTIME I go, I remember why it’s no longer worth it. We are a family of 6, we drive and stay at a good neighbor hotel. We eat 2 times a day at the park and share meals as much as we can. We get a 3 day pass, usually did park hopper ( outrageous now) and Genie plus because they make it impossible to get on rides without it. The bare minimum is $6000 for us. That’s a month of wages. Ridiculous!!!!!! For what? To fight crowds, not get on rides because we didn’t pay extra or they are broken! Sorry Disney but we can’t afford it anymore. And we make a pretty good living!!

That is just ridiculous. Greed. Getting ready for all the new stuff so it won't be blamed for when they open. I have had annual pass for 10 yrs and have gone since 1958 and THIS will be my last year. I will always remember the old days cuz today Disney is not Disney. Shame on you Disney. 😢💔

Hi Chris and Amanda! Always appreciate your informative videos and of course the fun ones, too. Did you happen to address single-day tickets? Is there and increase there, too? Thank you so much!

I help friends buy tickets. I always go to the one day tickets and pick the lowest days . Last time we got 2 one day tickets for 104.00 per day versus Disneyland at 155.00 per day. So they are going on a Tuesday Wednesday trip for 208.00. Cheaper yet. Just have to watch which days are the lowest and go then.

Look at the three day specials that get offered during the summer and sometimes the spring. Three days for less than $100 a day. (Mon through Thurs.) Only a little bit more for the one that includes weekends. (So you get even more entertainment). These specials are good for any three days within about a three or four month period. I buy them through Get Away Today and get a discount, although this summer I bought mine through Undercover Tourist because the discount was bigger. This summer I sprung for the park hopper version and I went one day in June, one in July, and one in early September. So two summer days and one Halloween!

Staff wanted increases in pay so that has to come from somewhere. It will not be taken from shareholder dividends as this will negatively impact the price of shares, which will be a target for senior execs at Disney. Whilst it maybe unpopular people cannot expect increases in park running costs not to be passed on to consumers. There’s also the new hotel to pay for as DVC and room sales have been slower than expected.

Exactly this. Disney isn't going to fully pay for CM wage increases, that cost is getting offloaded to the consumer.
@KhurtKhave669

And there hasn't been any significant shareholder dividends since before 2020. Disney has been so mismanaged and losing money in films and streaming that the entire company is now in danger; yet they keep doing the same foolish things.

I haven't read through the comments or anything. But one thing came to mind Not only is corporate Disney greedy. But recently they had the employees strike. So they're most likely paying the employees more now which they are passing it along to the customer 😔 I have not been to Disneyland since 2007. I probably will never go back. My kids still all go but my husband passed away so there's no point for me to go anymore. But I do watch the live streams from certain creators. God bless everybody stay safe ❤
