I know I am a guest. Problem is that there are people who do not see it that way, to the point that they are either victims, own the whole plot or both. There is no shame in some cultures and they will never integrate. I am seeing the same thing which occured in Iran and it will be the same outcome if it is not addressed. Hate speech is defined as any kind of communication, whether spoken, written, or behavioral, that attacks or uses pejorative or discriminatory language with reference to a person or a group based on attributes such as race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or gender. Hate speech is typically intended to incite hostility, discrimination, or violence against the targeted group. While the exact legal definition can vary by jurisdiction, the core concept revolves around speech that promotes hate or violence toward individuals or groups based on these protected characteristics. Sympathise with you. I am similar age. Grew up in Govanhill Glasgow, schooled from 1960 to 1972, We had largely Scots Irish, Italians and Chinese with a small amount of Asian. As far as I could see all getting on fine. It was a respectable working class vibrant place. Govanhill has been the area where people have been sent by the Council as a multicultural area ever since. I left in 1975 when Govanhill started to change very fast. I went back every few years or so to visit people and catch up but after 35 years of the European Project called the EU and zero immigration controls the area is unrecognisable. Slum buildings, front and back gardens full of discarded furniture, tenements boarded up again like back in the 60's and after watching YT videos about the area discovered that there are now no less than 50 languages spoken in this ONE AREA. Standards dropped, every shop with steel shutters spray painted, don't wander the streets after dark I was advised. People should have come here, assimilated, adopted our culture, not brought their own cultures and living standards to Scotland and brought part of Glasgow down to the same standards as the country they wanted to escape so badly . What's the point of that. Unfathomable. There are some good people left, there are some good businesses and friendly faces but they are outnumbered by the incomers. There may be hope but for the Glasgow City Council and the SNP Government to allow this once great area to descend as far as it has saddens me. I don't know what the answer is but it certainly wont come from this current Government. Best wishes John.

At just 19 years old, I experienced the harrowing moments when bullets narrowly missed me, all in the name of defending our freedoms and those of others around the world. It is deeply troubling to now witness the erosion of those very freedoms by the leaders of our own nation. The thought that I could potentially face imprisonment for voicing legitimate concerns about the future of my children and grandchildren is beyond comprehension. Entirely agree. The last time I looked, we were represented by electoral consensus. Our "community leaders" were those we lawfully elected - in effect our councillors. So, who are these "community leaders" so often mentioned...? Are they the people with the loudest voices in the neighbourhood..? The one's who can muster the biggest mobs...? From where do these "leaders" draw their representative mandate...? Are "communities" now determined by tribal identity and a 1000 years of evolved culture cast aside..? It seems to me that social evolution is going into reverse, with the blessing of "democratic" government...

to richard ... I agree with your point about "community leaders" ... the police have no right to give these "leaders" so much power over how "their communities" are policed. Also, you are asking whether the Govt can impose "hate speech" laws unilaterally. Actually, they can. After the General Election 2024, Labour has an overwhelming majority in Parliament, and therefore free rein to pass any laws they wish. Out of a total of 650 Parliamentary seats, Labour have 404, and Conservatives only have 121. The Lib Dems have 72, SNP have 9, Reform 5, and there are several smaller parties, and Independents. So Labour have over half the seats, and therefore all the power. As the Speaker says .... "The ayes have it" ! In the House of Lords (which does not create laws, but approves and amends them) there are 270 Conservative peers, 184 Labour, 79 Lib Dem, and peers from smaller parties, and bishops, and independents. There are 797 sitting members in total ... and if most of them agree with Labour (which they tend to do nowadays), then there will be no impediment to the Labour Government's laws being passed, in double quick time! Some of us had hoped for more Reform MPs to be elected, to mount a stronger opposition to Labour's "free-rein" ... but it didn't work out that way.

I knew the system was corrupt but I never understood how corrupt. I saw the masses saying the Lord's prayer while being gassed and shot with rubber bullets. In the prayer they forgave their attackers. Their attackers then labeled them as terror threats. The powerful are ruthless liars. And I am grateful to God for showing me the truth about them. What can I say mate? My dad came over from Jamaica during the war and when he went back he couldn't settle. He came back as part of the Windrush and worked for LT all his life. He loved and respected the UK and became a fully fledged Brit. It was not his intention to turn his back on Jamaica but this was now his home and so he embraced everything British. I don't have hang ups about my roots and don't consider myself anything other than a Brit with heritage from two other countries. I even have dual nationality with Ireland but I am a Brit and proud of what it once meant. A guest is the right approach, forget assimilation that word has too many bad connotations. 'If' you have come to the UK because you think it is a good place and the British people are good people then try and understand the culture and mirror it. 'If' you want to live the way you did in your broken countries with oppressive religions and laws then I'm afraid from my perspective you are not welcome.

Great video mate! You’re hitting on topics that live in my head day-to-day. Far too many immigrants don’t see themselves as guests of our nation. Whenever I have this conversation with friends I reduce the size of the problem down: You invite someone to your home for dinner and a warm bed. How would you respond if they complained about the food, in their own language and treated your home like it was theirs? We’re disrespected, used, our WW11 veterans are being brutally dishonoured and we are angry. This is our country (i.e. the British People’s country), not the Politician’s. The only answer I can see is a complete purge of the political class and starting again with some very poignant amendments to our rules-of-engagement.

You're spitting truth Tim. Don't stop. I strongly suspect a lot of us listened right to the end. In the book Gulag Archipelago, the author states how the regime sneaked in bit by bit and before they knew it, people were being disappeared in the night. He stated how in the camps they came to the realisation that they should have grouped together earlier and fought off the tyranny before it gained the strength is resulted in. I can't remember the actual phrases but it was along the lines of how they BURNED at night thinking if they'd sat in wait for those knocks on the front door and dealt with them AT THE TIME, the wheels of the machine would have ground to a halt. This is exactly how Starmer has got the police coming for people ONE BY ONE (Rick Mayall movie reference there - I urge you to watch it). He is working to the Marxist playbook to a T, he is a very dangerous man, we need him out of that position ASAP. I believe that is how far left regimes work, they clamp down tight and quick, making examples of individuals to put everyone into a state of fear to stop anyone even managing to form any kind of resistance group. It's only when it reaches the tipping point of literally having NOTHING to lose that people start breaking that fear cycle and is why these despotic regimes only have like a 5-15 year lifespan generally. It is LITERALLY DEMONIC, what kind of a SCUMBAG would think they have the right to DICTATE to everyone else what is BEST for THEM???? I'm a born again Christian, I am expected to be a pacifist (at least non violent), but I WILL still resist TYRANNY nevertheless, be that by the pen, dissemination of TRUTH or not offering aid and comfort to a TYRANT, I can still DO MY BIT for humanity.

We had an election just a few weeks ago. That's when you vote out politicians you don't like. You're a bit slow off the mark with that one I'm afraid. The majority voted for Labour MPs however. btw, you only need to press space once between words when you're typing.
