Just go my 2 speed today, wen't for a quick spin, top gear easily spun, and comfortable over bumps. Will keep it in cycling trim without folding up as much as possible, dry days only, perfect for city commutes and should get up 7% without much trouble.

@@takujadebun For speed I agree.Coming from a long time with racers I couldn't cope with the weight of the 6 speed hub on the rear wheel of the other version. It's not of course as fast as my racer but doesn't disappoint. I just can't change back and forth between granny and normal gear due to the eternally crap brompton gear issues at the mo but its not a distance machine and is enjoyable powering up low grade rises in the single speed butch gear.

@@sandydennylives1392 I agree with you. Brompton is not likely other bikes and it shows something different view. if I ride long distance, climbing mountains, riding without using public transportation, I definitely use road bike. anyway both bikes are fun for me;D

@@takujadebun You can actually climb 'tains on a Brompton. T&T do a 54/33 chainset. Getting down the other side will leave you with red hot rims and little else.

Hi Arnaud! thanks for askin:) well, im using 2speed Bromtpon and chainring size sprocket are same as original 2Speed Brompton. Its enough for me for just riding flat road. if you wish to climb mountain with 2speed, probably this isn’t your bike.

Brampton’s are built to last…. Cleaned and serviced my one for the first time in a decade. Still works like new. The tolerances are so wide you can use and abuse…. When I mean cleaned.. I literally mean first time degreaser has hit the drive train and stock chain…

I am going to try waxing my chain instead of petroleum-based lube. It keeps your drivetrain much cleaner so you don't have to deal with the oily greasy chain and cogs. I've heard of people getting 7,000 miles from a chain that is waxed.

Seems useful content but just cannot watch this video. I do not know why annoying and awful music must be played in the background and in this video over the content itself. I muted the video and ran closed caption to see if the irritating music stops and if he speaks. He does speak at about the midway point but through and beneath the annoying music. I tried listening but cannot escape the whiney screachy vocal music so I had to stop when he touched the Presta valve. This video's content is strong, I simply do not understand why it must be so deprecated by annoying music through and over his spoken content.
