I am a retired Recon Marine, I came home a confused man from a war I didn’t understand. Bruce’s music spoke to me and got me through the tough times, he pretty much saved my life. I have seen him 38 times, there is no better live performer. Period.

Why did I never realize Bruce Springsteen was one of the greatest musicians of all time? For some I never thaught I'd like Springsteen but this might be one of the greatest preformances I've ever seen he's fantastic, and I really admire his guitar style. I've got hours of his stuff to get familiar with now!

Compared to the Jimmy Page & Jimi Hendrix and the Gary Moore's of the world just to name a few, Springsteen will always be down in the cellar for a very good reason lol! I like Bruce and he has his moments but comparatively his guitar playing is very simplistic.

Rolling Stone ranked Prove It All Night, recorded 9/19/1978 at The Capitol Theater in Passaic, as the greatest live version of any song at a Bruce Springsteen concert. This version in Landover is almost identical to that and any difference isn't worth mentioning. I was at both shows and a better person for the experience.

I was in New York city and I got in this cab. All the cabbies in New York have a running monologue that dont stop whether someone is in there or not. He was ranting about how everyday he has to prove it to his boss, his wife and on the weekends he has to prove it to his kids. Its like it never stops. Gotta prove it non-stop.. never seems to let up. Someone once told me "Thin line 'tween heaven and here," never really understood what that meant till now
