Être fort comme un Turc (‘to be strong like a turk’): This expression originates in the 15th century when the Turks had a reputation for being strong, almost unbeatable warriors due to their numerous victories. At the time, the Ottoman Empire ruled large parts of south-east Europe, north Africa and western Asia. It is said that François I, King of France, was gifted Turkish armour by Suleiman the Magnificent (the tenth and most famous sultan of the Ottoman Empire) during their alliance. When he wore it, he is said to have exclaimed: “Here I am now, strong as a Turk!”.

Thank you for uploading this song, but there are some translation errors I want to point out. 1. "O mübarek bayrak, işte bu bayrak!" = "That blessed flag is this flag!" 2. "Unutana yine hatırlatırız," = "We remind again to those who forget," 3. "Kafkaslar'da bizi kaldırdı şaha." = "He made us triumphant in the Caucasus." (I am not entirely sure what "şaha kalkmak" means in this song. I interpreted it as winning, but it may be interpreted as effervescence too. Also, I paraphrased the sentence to convey the message I got more accurately. So, it is not a word to word translation.) I didn't mention other errors already pointed out by others. Don't be harsh on yourself for making these easy mistakes, Turkish is hard even for me and I am a Turk. Hata yaptıysam lütfen söyleyin.

Many races? Do you know what is a race, because Turkey isn’t one. In Turkey the population isn’t even related to each other. To be genetically similar with someone you need to share % in the human genome. Turkey has 8 different haplogroups which is on par with Brazil and USA . Having a same haplogroup means this - They share around 2% of their whole genome, which is around levels of second cousins which in turn means - Thousands of shared mutation (Blue eyes only need 2 mutations) - Have a common direct grandfather - Nationalistic for what? A country declared independent 70 years ago? Wow good pride you got there buddy👍 The only thing that can unite turks and united them before is Islam. It wasn’t today’s nationalistic turks that defeated many races, or dominated Anatolia, Balkans and the Middle east. It was Muslims all thanks to الله. You can have 100 haplogroups but with Islam everyone is a brother to each other, more then a blood brother who isnt religious

@@AndalusicToday, no race is purebred. Like every nation, Turks interacted with other nations over time and, as can be expected, they married and had children with them. In addition, we have more interaction with different nations because the Turkish nation is a nation that has migrated to different places in every period of history. The reason why we are less compatible with the Turks in Central Asia is, as I said, interacting with different nations. Of course, we lost some of our Central Asian characteristics as a result of Turks with a diverse gene pool entering a geography such as Anatolia, which has an incredibly rich gene pool. Genetic similarity still exists between the Turks of Türkiye and other Turkic peoples. Rejecting this has purely ulterior motives and propaganda purposes. R1a without z93 framework - 4.63% (European of Origin) R1b-L51 branch 3.47% (European origin) Haplogroups I1 and I2 4.63% (European of Origin) C1 haplogroup 0.50% (Origin Europe and Anatolia) T haplogroup 3.31% (Origin Middle East) Total: 16.03%. So what? After coming to Anatolia with the Seljuk migration, the sons of the Turks, people from different origins. In other words, 84% of the Turks come from Turks, where Turkmenistan is a historical case. It's very interesting. Anatolian Turks are autosomally distinct in exactly these proportions, with an example of the copies of the Oghuz origin of the Oghuzs (Okuz river (Amuderya), Meveraünnedir) (Dzharkutan example). The other haplogroups carried by the Turks (R1b, R1a-z93, N, Q, G, E, L, J1, J2, C2) were all present when the Turks were in Turkmenistan before coming here. Other Turks who never came to Anatolia also have these haplogroups. The massacres committed by the Arabs will never be forgotten, Islam was glorified by the Turks, not you, Islam was spread by the Turks to most regions, the Arabs were always racist, the Prophet would have been ashamed if he saw your current state because you are all used to betraying and you did not follow his rules, after the end of the rule of the Turks in the Middle East, the Middle East has never become a peaceful geographical region. The betrayal of the Arabs against the Ottomans will never be forgotten, so you are paying the price for your betrayal in the Middle East... Have a good day.
