This is a song dedicated to Buckethead's Aunt Suzie. Aunt Suzie was the person that gave him his fist guitar as gift when he was 12 years old! He has also many other songs dedicated to his family! Most importantly his album named COLMA was written for his mum, who was at the hospital recovering from intestine cancer... Buckethead therefore, decided to compose an album that was calming enough for her to hear during the recovery... Amazing man, amazing soul, amazing SOULtouching music!

This song saved my life. 2014 I was going through it hard. Toxic lifestyle. I wanted so hard to surrender. I didn't know where to go, who to turn to. I'm an expat in a foreign country. I got home one cold rainy night and my electricity had been cut off. It was definately the last straw. I was one for. I asked for a sign before leaving this earth. I opened my laptop and checked my messages one last time and KZitem was open. I clicked the first song. It was this one. I cried all night and woke up a new man. Life changed. This song always reminds me of how lowninwss and how far I've come.

The theory is that Bucketheads "Aunt Suzie" bought him his first guitar! However, this isn't the only song that is for Aunt Suzie! The song Soothsayer is also referring to Aunt Suzie! Soothsayer means someone who can see the future! Which supposedly "Aunt Suzie" could see the future! She foresaw him becoming a guitar legend and therefore bought him his first guitar!

Wow thats really touching. The power of music...What it can do to someone. How feelings of anger & hate can vanish in the matter of seconds. How it serves as a universal language that everyone understands & can relate to. In music there is no discrimination against gender/ethnicity/disability. No one cares if someone is blind, only has a arm or if this person would happen to wear a Bucket on his head. Thats why I love this community so much. And thats why I have decided to become a muscician myself. Imagine having the ability to play your instrument & eventually you inspire masses of people to learn music as well. Music is the most personal expression of the soul. And Im afraid there wont be another day going by without me listening to at least 1 Buckethead song. When I have children I will play them Buckethead as well to soothe them. You should try Padmasana,Swomme Swan, Pike 78, Cove, Electric Tears LP, Super Human, Pond Of Peace, Blue Slide, Pike 43, Watching Boats With My Dad, Formless Present...to name a few out of the 300 + records already released lol. But I especially suggest to play "She Sells Sea Shells At The Slaughterhouse" for your son, since this is an actual lullaby song in my mind. If it can turn someone in their early 20s sleepy then Im sure it will work even better for your son. Buckethead is such a genius & I cherish everyday his music enhances my life Much love, happiness, health & peace

7:33 That build up is so intense. The guitar is truly weeping & screaming in pain. This song is paying homage not only to his aunt but also to Funkadelic. For me this is Bucketheads take on Maggot Brain. Only differenence is he played like that because he lost a loved one. Eddie Hazel pretended to pour his heart out, imagining his mom had just past away. However the beauty & dedication is audioable in both versions.

Legends say Bucket Head is still playing this in a deserted island far away close to the Bahamas, with his hair blowing in the wind while the sun is shining and the palm trees are blowing. The dolphins and sea creatures gather around in a circular formation and dance to the rhythm. All the pain and suffering in the world is swallowed by a powerful ray of positive light 🌈 And for a brief moment…. ☮️ Peace is obtained ⚡️🎸🎶🎶🎶

Hands down... greatest ever. I dont understand how people can praise Hendrix for only being influential... Buckethead has invented techniques and playing style as well... and even if you give it to Hendrix for being the influence for a lot of guitarists... dude... THIS GUY RIGHT HERE CAN PLAY ANYTHING!!! LITERALLY! Any genre, style or whatever the heck, fast, slow, shredding or bending, the emotion, the technique... Buckethead is just the most complete guitarist. Some cand shred faster or whatever but lacks in certain departments... this guy has 300 albums exploring music way beyond any other guitarists have... its insane... I don't think people understand... and I'm a simple girl, I like David Gilmour and Marty Friedman... for feeling and flavour... but this guy is just a better guitar player... dosent mean his music is better, you cant even compare music, its about mood... but he is just the better player.. Love you all! Geez... such a long comment... ^^' ❤
