The Absima R4FS SVC seems to run same protokol. You think that would work with GT5?

Regarding the FS-A3 - 3 Channel, No Gyro, $8-10. You can make them talk, by fudging the steps. HOWEVER, a GT5 and A3 are never exclusively bound, just kinda. When a GT5 is bound to a BS6 and on the GT5 you attempt to click over to another truck, you get a message saying you are not allowed to switch trucks until you power-down the receiver currently bound. HOWEVER, when the GT5 is talking to an A3-equipped rig, you can keep turning on other A3-equipped rigs that have previously gone through the bind process (up to 19 in theory) and watch them all steer at the same time, back up, go forward. I am told that this does not create interference with other owners' trucks. I very much hope this is true.

I accidently ran 7.4v through a FS-A3 Receiver ( faulty esc ) and my receiver didnt burn out.. It was only for about 10 seconds though.

Found out in FS-IT4S manual: • CH1 to CH4: used to connect the servos, power or other parts. • BIND/VCC: used to connect the bind cable for binding, and the power cable during normal operation. • SERVO: used to connect i-Bus module and extend channels. • SENS: used to connect all kinds of sensors.

The best thing about BS4 is that in addition to the gyro, it also has the telemetry SENS inputs (to be connected to e.g. a voltage sensor). My question is, can GT-5 use the telemetry info, e.g. to show the battery voltage of car?
@AszBall

shapul - was wondering what the “servo” and “sens” inputs did on the BS4, but yea just having messed with the GT5 settings I doubt it will have the ability to show telemetry. I would assume that the “sens” port telemetry is meant for a different transmitter but who knows, I’ll have to look into it further.

Hi. Did you manage to monitor anything on the SENS input of the BS4 using the GT5 transmitter?

Hafez Muhtaseb - I know it works with like the FS-A3, FS-BS4, and FS-BS6 the three best options for the GT5 in my opinion. No idea if the receiver you mentioned will be compatible but read the video description I linked the users manual and in the description I have explained where in the manual you can find a list of ALL the compatible Flysky receivers.

gary murphy - I know I already answered this comment on my other video you commented on but will answer again for the benefit of anyone reading the comments for the same info. Short answer no. Unfortunately the GR3E receiver for the GT3C is not on the list of compatible GT5 receivers, and there is an actual list of compatible receivers that can be found on page 7 section 4.2 the GT5 users manual and you can find a link for that users manual in the video description. Best options in my opinion are the FS-A3 which is $8 with no gyro and 3channels, or the FS-BS4 which is $12 with gyro and 4channels. The FS-BS6 that comes with it is obviously the best receiver with gyro and all 6 channels but a little pricey running at about $25 so not the best option unless you use all 6 channels. Hopefully this info helps.

will it work on a brushed motor?
@AszBall

Yes will work on a brushed ESC/motor setup. Just not the stock brushed ESC/motor the 12428 comes with because it does not have the standard 3 pin connector that comes with pretty much all other ESCs, but as long as you got something aftermarket the GT5 combined with this transmitter should work just fine.
