I like the idea of a channel exploring woodworking with these constraints. It came out great. I think I might be tempted to get a locking, water tight deck box for some of the tools just to save on trips up the stairs.

Huh, locking watertight box is a slick idea. Might have to do that

very impressive doing this on top of a apartment or condo with minimal tools. Ive seen really bad wood stuff come from high end decked out wood shops......and using the spiral staircase moving stuff, very impressive. your project turned out very nice, esp going against the elements outside!!!

Come on Jack Lot. You are doing great with your space you got and minimal tools. I'm from South Africa and enjoyed your 2 vids so far. Get them posted. Go big. Sorry for my English. I'm Afrikaans LOL🤣 Oh I Subbed your channel. GO GO GO.........

Well done with the tools you have. You could use just dowel joints instead of pocket holes, or do dados with router. Or even do dados and then drill holes for dowels from outside and leave dowel heads as detail pieces.

Exposed dowels as part of the design could look really cool, good suggestion

this project lands somewhere between shaker fine craft and flat pack modernism in all the best ways!

It always amazes me how people justify using pocket holes or biscuits to join parts. Not sure why. If it works, use it. 🙂
