If you’re not struggling on your last few reps, you’re not getting close to muscle failure. Research literature shows you need to work to muscle failure, to force the tissue to adapt and grow!

Probably a stupid question but do I need to go to failure on every set or just the last set for each exercise? I’m just concerned about fatiguing really early on in the workout!

@@nash4903very few people know what true failure feels like and so I’m willing to bet that because you’re worried about fatiguing too early, you have more reps in reserve than you realize. Failure isn’t when the exercise feels hard (shaking and burning) but rather when you can’t complete another rep. Try working to failure on each set - I bet you surprise yourself!

I need some heavier weight especially on leg and chest exercises. Meanwhile, I'm practicing what you've said about keeping the working muscle engaged throughout; I lift for one count and three counts to lower keeping that muscle engaged the whole time. It's really made a big difference!

Spread them out doing your 30min workouts 3x a week, with at least one hitting on the weekend. Love these workouts and appreciate your effort in keeping them clear, detailed and organized! I have seen a huge improvement in strength, definition and mobility. Thanks!!

I do Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If I have a scheduling conflict, I'll move one to the weekend. I also do long daily walks with my dog. 60 yrs young. 💪

I also do Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but will move one of my lifting days to Saturday if needed. I incorporate walking, rebounding, qi gong, and yoga on Sundays and non-lifting days.

I fit two sessions in on the weekends and maybe a run as well. Work schedule during the week interrupts my lunch workouts quite often. Just the nature of my job. But love your workouts Cheryl!

Heck no I don’t want an hour glass figure. I have that naturally. I want to be fit and strong 💪 like you. I’m 51 and back at the gym. Hoping to be like you. I used to run in my thirties and forties then had some health issues. You can look beautiful but nothing can compare to feeling strong. I prefer to be strong.

I have a question. I'm almost 67 and seems whenever I start lifting over 10 or 12 lb. Dumbells, I get injured. I try to use good form, but I can't afford a personal trainer to watch every workout. Aside from that, any suggestions?

I’ve really been enjoying your 30 minute lift with Cee and love that I’m getting stronger. I’m going out of the country for two weeks though but want to continue working out but won’t have my weights with me. And I refuse to pay $50 bucks for water bottles that look like weights. do you have any bodyweight exercises or videos You can suggest just for my Holiday to stay in my routine. Thanks!!

It also depends on genetics. I was at 12% at one time and i was fit and streamline. I'm also half Asian and you may have noticed not a lot of Asians compete in bodybuilding male or female.

Cee, not sure what my problem is.... I can hardly lift 15# for the triceps and have to drop down a bit to finish. But..... I can do 25s on the Goblet squat???? Help!!

Not sure why you think that’s a problem 🤔 triceps are a much smaller muscle group than the lower body (legs) working during the goblet squat. Legs should be able to lift many times more weight than the triceps.

I got a super sexy body. 2 hours a day in the gym. First exercise 50 kg each hand incline press. 16 reps then 13 then 12 then 11 then 10 and after over to single arm cable punch machine and take weight to 50 kg. Then smith machine and 60 kg each side. Then biceps. Then t bar pull downs and handle roll up a cable attached which has a 10 kg weight for forearm building. Then loads and loads of sit ups. Me super sexy.
