@NorthSeaPort, the Dutch-Belgian port of Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Ghent, is heavily investing in future-proof port infrastructure to make the logistics chain more efficient and sustainable.
Project Manager Hans de Meij explains: “All of our infrastructure projects, such as the rail connection between our Ghent and Terneuzen port areas, the construction of the new post Panamax lock in Terneuzen and the inland shipping connection between Ghent and Paris will help us to ship more goods by barge and train and to reduce the number of trucks on the road.”
