I'm 81, have an authentic Shelby Cobra and love to drive it, go to shows, etc, A real conversation piece. Sometimes I think about selling it, getting a Ferrari or Lambo but I'm afraid I'd miss it too much.

I replaced this with a Gen 3 Viper and I do miss it. I enjoyed the build most. Thanks for watching.

Thinking back to when you were building this beast from scratch, still can’t believe you sold it bro

I waited for years to get my group IV Pantera. After going to a few dozen car show, giving my friends rides and doing some day trips the thrill faded, maintenance loomed and I decided to move on. It was a fun but expensive dream fulfilled and while I have fond memories I don't regret my decision to sell her. I get it...:)

Oh no!!! Absolutely stunning car with a nice paint job. :-) Somebody got a great one. Sorry to see it go but as someone who's sold a couple myself don't have much room to talk. Good luck with your next project(s) and hopefully you'll get to build another one some time. See you around.

Hi Paul!!! I bought a Gen 5 Viper and I’m loving it. Planning on retiring soon and a Coupe build is on my radar. 😀. See you soon.

Awesome car, looks and sounds incredible. I want to build one someday, although I'm still a little intimidated by the build process (the amount of expertise and tools that would be needed).

Thanks for your compliment! You should take on the challenge and do it. Only basic tools are needed in my opinion. There are soooo many build threads and KZitem videos for each step in the process. I can't forget to mention the Factory Five community as a whole. You would be amazed at how many are in your area that would stop by to help you drop that engine in or put that body on. I would also recommend visiting Factory Five too. The entire process was a truly great experience. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Why sell it? I’m always amazed by how many people sell them with almost no mileage.

@@joshuamichael2473 Hello sir - I believe I had that Cobra for about six years. It was a blast, the build was the best part in my opinion. I showed, cruised, and just totally loved it but then there is always something else..... and here is the thing, I will likely retire in a few more years and build another one. Kinda hard to top that one though - came out exactly the way I wanted. :D

I really loved the build experience. Once completed, I drove it, won a few car shows and it was just really time for something else. I may do another one at some point. Maybe a Daytona coupe.
