If you didn’t understand what happened here, my explanation below might help. His original thought was “I don’t need anyone to create a life with”, and so his mind projected a reality where he would be hurt/betrayed, and ultimately give himself a reason to go his separate way, reinforcing his original belief. By turning it around to “I *need* someone to create a life with”, he became his true authentic self, and now his energy has been freed. If he hasn’t found his future wife by now, he will. Negative thoughts (or blockage) will reinforce your behavior, which will be reflected back to you in your circumstances. By questioning the thought and asking yourself “who would I be without the thought?” you’re revealing the true nature of who you are. An analogy: It’s like saying “I don’t need food because food betrayed me”, you think you don’t need it so you won’t eat because you ate something expired once. But if you get rid of the negative thought by questioning it, you have no resistance to the idea of eating when you’re hungry, so you will simply find food. Now that he’s admired he DOES want a relationship, there’s no more blockage. And now the road is clear for his desire and outcome to meet. This is how the law of attraction works as well.

The original thought was, "I don't trust I'll find someone to create a life with". Then Katie when to, "I won't find someone to create a life with" which is just a shorter version. So, the TA is, 'I will find someone to create a life with'. And 'I will find myself to create a life with' and 'someone will find me to create a life with'. As soon as he comes out of the dream (thinking and images) however many seconds later, he's found someone to create a life with: himself; rather than living with the ghost version of himself in the past being betrayed, and the future ghost of him alone and/or getting betrayed again.

If I'm hearing right, Katie and he both misquoted the original statement, which was I WON'T find a partner to share my life with, to which the turnaround would have been I WILL find...

Wow such strength and courage in him to go through this this exercise. I can relate so much to him (female 37 yr here), and boy do I predict a beautiful future for him. He deserves to find the love and connection and trust within himself (as we all do) - and that new energy will suit him so much better!

my soul is raped the man I revered as my best friend, raped my soul he abandoned and betrayed and discarded and replaced me over the past 15 months (almost 16), while I've been desperately trying to heal from the trauma that he's caused me... he's been with my replacement, making all of his wildest dreams come true! the pain is truly debilitating and paralyzing completely unfathomable. do we really create your own reality, even before we incarnate into this world? if so, why this? this morning I read a quote from Lao Tzu, went something like: God gives you the people you need, not the ones you want. utter bullshit? or truth?

Was there with him. Really moved me. However the walls stayed up, and I carried on as before. Trust doesn't build that quickly, no matter what. If you've been abused from birth, every and all abuse, I trust ppl, but don't let them in enough to ever hurt me. And one work sheet won't fix that betrayal. Trust me I wish it would.

No, not at all. Ever since I was 5 years old the only thing I've really wanted in this world is just to love people and be loved. It didn't matter to me what was between their legs. My parents tried to convince me that "nice" boys don't succeed .. other people tried to fill me with doubt and self hatred .. they were wrong. I guess you have to ask yourself, what is the standard by which you are judging "love" ? Someone may not possess sheer physical beauty alone and could still be exactly who you need at this point in your life. Something doesn't have to be "perfect" in order to be beautiful or worthy. Many women could look like supermodels if they wanted to invest a whole lot of time, energy and resources into looks alone, but maybe they recognize that physical beauty is fleeting and they've chosen other priorities in life ..
@shhhness
Жыл бұрын
@johnath... spot on. What happens when the looks are gone? As a female who was probably labelled 'easy on the eye' I've found it's horrendous to be dated in order to be someone's accessory. What happens to good conversations, fun times, shared experiences when you were never 'needed' to be a person, purely an acquisition. See me as the 3D whole person.. or don't see me at all. Western society so called 'elitism' has brainwashed smart, decent, people into belief systems that have torn humanity apart. If a person refuses to see ME, I have backup.. I SEE ME 😊❤
