In regards to putting the truck in the garage, the truck was more at risk of damage being hit in a truck stop parking lot than me carefully backing it in with many people watching. I do this as a better customer service for our company as well as the airport personnel. It is a choice I make and is why I do as many of these as I do. Its always best to make the customer happy. The difference is in the details. Instead of commenting why I did what was beyond my duties, question how you can improve your service.

Screw the Customer. I'd do it just because I get to drive a fire truck without being a fireman and not get arrested like anybody else would..perks of the job like this are the best😉 🤣I would have noticed the screen for the backup camera was on while I was backing up though and that if the guy knew that the beeping meant the tanks were empty he could probably figure out most of the rest on his own while 😴. Own up and take your walk of shame then edit this for a Bloopers Clip and use the part where the bald guy almost bursts out laughing after you tell him you don't know how to turn on the backup camera, that's the best one by far😁

You said you didn't know what the motori is in the fire truck when you opened the back, well it's a Deutz TDC 16 litre V8 about 700 bhp, built in Ulm Germany. They are mainly used in big combines, but they'll be ideal because you can fit multiple ptos directly to them some of which will give 100% of engine torque, also because of their combine application they are designed to run on the governor at high loads for hours.

Been trying to get a bridge built for 2-3 years trying to get cute w/arches over a major road. Got one arch up only to discover it was warped & a year to figure out what to do w/it, both parties pointing fingers. More major road work upcoming.....Sigh

The lack of understanding of basic highway driving protocols is rampant in the Northeast. The list of idiot moves includes: slowing down for an exit while still on the highway, accelerating to 45 mph or so in the acceleration lane, then entering the right lane ti complete acceleration over the next mile or so, stopping at the end of the on ramp and the classic expectation that traffic on the highway should change lanes ti allow the slow accelerators to enter. I live in a populär retirement destination in southeast Virginia and see these northeast driving styles cause backups crashes and near misses every day...That is why I mounted cameras front and rear on my personal cars (not SUV‘s). The lack of skill is truly amazing!
