Caelex (Pretoria) and its sister company Vukuzenzele Chris Auto (Witbank) have been involved in the auto electrical trade for 40 and 18 years respectively. They have earned the reputation as a leading auto electrical parts wholesaler, and have been working towards developing a quality range of products.
Caelex and Vukunzenzele recently hosted trade evenings in Witbank and Pretoria. For both Witbank (26 July) and Pretoria (23 August) trade evenings, the main focus was the launch of LexPart, the house-brand of products from CAELEX and Vukuzenzele Chris Auto.
The purpose of the trade evenings was to showcase the brands and products that they stock. All the products set out for the evening's promotion were sold at competitive prices and were snatched up by many discerning clients and visitors. Johan de Bruyne, a director of Caelex, pointed out that the evening was also used to forge relations with new and existing clients and to create awareness of ACSA-MAG -- a range of products now distributed by Caelex and Vukuzenzele.
"Our drive is to uplift other auto electricians and bring to them the latest technology in tooling, test equipment, training and most aftermarket replacement auto electrical parts for cars, bakkie's, trucks & earth moving equipment. Most auto electricians experience many challenges with the latest technology in our ever-progressing industry. We are in the fortunate position to be in contact with many companies abroad from whom we obtain much technological advances. We in turn want to share this knowledge within our industry.", he adds.
Besides for CAELEX and Vukuzenzele Chris Auto, a number of their loyal suppliers participate and assist in promoting the company's objectives. "We work closely with them to stay abreast with the technologies & cutting edge parts of our modern day industry", de Bruyne continues.
The trade evenings hosted in Witbank and Pretoria were the first of their kind, both evenings dedicated to promoting a wide range of products sold locally. Show visitors also gained great value from excellent promotional prices on most items. Caelex and Vukuzenzele consider both evenings a great success and were humbled by the support that they have received after these trade evenings.
One such customer and visitor at the Pretoria trade evening, Setabo Raymond Modiba adds that he has been a loyal customer of Caelex for more nearly 12 years. "In 2000, I needed an alternator for my back then Audi. I was surprised at the level of customer service and expertise offered by the team at Caelex. Since then, I have become a part of the Caelex family and I've recommended the company to many clients", Modiba adds. "Tonight, we purchased an alternator and starter for a truck because the trade evening offered many discounts. Caelex offers good service and quality spares at good prices. They must keep up the good work."
"This is the first year that we've done sales at a show like this and it has been a huge success. Over the last two years we focused on developing ourselves and our brands" de Bruyne points out. "It's been most rewarding and our growth has been nothing short of phenomenal over the last two years."
Caelex and Vukuzenzele have no doubt that from the attendance and feedback they received; the trade evenings will grow from strength to strength. "We are also looking at expanding our client base into Northern Africa. We have an online catalogue system which enables clients anywhere in the world to browse our product range, request quotations and confirm orders as needed." de Bruyne concludes.
