I've been shooting bows since I was old enough to hold one, but only in the last few years have I really gotten into trying to become a better archer and bowhunter. I've spent at least the last two-three years pouring over as much content as I could (KZitem, books, podcasts, etc.) to learn as much as I could. Somehow, I only just recently came upon your content and in that short amount of time I've learned so much more about what I can implement in how I shoot, what I shoot, and how to hunt. I appreciate the videography being so clear and concise through your videos; more than anything, I've learned more just being able to watch and pick apart your technique, basically trying to reverse engineer it. Thank you for creating such clear and informative content. There's always something new for us all to learn. Thanks!

I'm just getting started on being more accurate and I'm learning as I go . One thing I found out not to do is leave your jaw open . Its hard to space your mandibular jaw in the exact spot every time . Your jaw acts like a hinge and it pivots from the temporomandibular joint . When your teeth are not making contact your jaw can move right or left and If your teeth are not in contact because your jaw is a hinge the angle changes and it causes your anchor point to move according to have far open your mouth is .So If your shooting left or right over far distances and your jaw is not completely closed like it is in this video , your hand can move your jaw to the left enough to cause your arrow to be off. Notice next time you shoot with your mouth open as in this video if your moving your jaw when you put your thumb against your open floating jaw. then try closing it and make contact with your teeth to lock the jaw movement in place so the anchor point stays exactly the same every time . This was one of the first thing I was taught to do. as far as anchor points go.

Well said... if you can hit the kill zone at 180 yds with a few minutes to get prepped / settled, easy (no hiking, climbing, stalking) breath control, etc.... then under the much more rigorous and tense hunting situation, 60-80 yds is doable.

6:04 Camera guy trying to focus Archer puts his finger in the shot Camera guy gives up adjustment Archer takes finger out of shot Camera guy again tries to zoom in on the sight Archer puts his finger back in the shot AGAIN ::repeat x3:: Camera guy tries one last time to focus for the viewer at home to see And for some reason the archer puts his finger back in the close up frame of the bowstring almost as the camera guy got the lense to focus at that rate of zoom, for some reason thinking at such a close shot that’s been on the screen since around 6 minutes into the film, that we need it to be pointed at even though there’s nothing else on screen besides the bow string (well, except for the finger again making it go out of focus focusing on the closer finger rather than the further sight of the bowstring...) All I’m imagining is the camera guy in the room trying to edit that part of the scene and bashing his head on the table. Seemed like an important scene in a great overall video, but we never got to see the sight itself at the moment it’s referenced because of all that over a tiny little thing the camera should’ve been able to get.
