I absolutely love your concept here! I have been demonstrating at a few craft shows lately. At almost every one of them, several people will come up to me and ask how to get into blacksmithing with little money. Since I have finished my entry into the viewer portion of the fantasy dagger challenge, I'll be starting a series on my own channel about that blacksmithing on a budget. "When angle grinders attack" could be a safety video in and of itself (or horror film 😂). One should NEVER underestimate or get too comfortable with an angle grinder. I used one professionally for 20 years and they will turn on you in a heartbeat. Again, great video and great looking knife with few tools.

First of all, let me say that Black Beard is truly an artist. I can only dream of having the skill, patience, artistry and work ethic he does. Having said that, his thin, short tangs annoy me to no end. May I suggest your next challenge: a full tang knife. I know you can do it! But do you want to???

Always remember when using an angle grinder sharpening a blade. Never, let me write it again, NEVER use the spinning disc AGAINST the cut. Always make sure the direction of the spin is IN DIRECTION of the cut. Why? If you are not skilled enough and believe me, it happens sometimes to skilled workers too, it could happen that going against the cut that gets sharper and sharper, you can cut the abrasive too! It shatters, the angle grinder take the direction of your stomach with the speed and power of a well targeted hook punch and the blade if not properly fixed, as our BB said, gets airborne at ludicrous speed. Destination Plaid Zone.

Probably the most dangerous thing with angle grinder and the cutting discs for metals is that they can break apart and fly off if it was used too much and got damaged (cracks) or you crack it while applying sideway force instead of just direct straight force like is intended, so cutting just straight lines like at 0:30. Other than that, just keep your hands away from the disc and tighten the screw properly, and dont forget earplugs and safety glasses, esp. the glasses so some small particles doesnt fly off into your eyes.
