DRY AGE WITH EASY CHEESE (AKA CHEESE WIZ IN A CAN)!!! 🧀
@chloekaftan
3 жыл бұрын
yorkshire pudding is usually baked in the size of a pot-pie tray (about the size of both hands forming a ring) and is normally prepared with genuine gravy (not the powdered crap, real gravy) poured on top into the depression of the pudding, you can always eat it without the gravy but its simply not as good. hope you try this version in the future! edit: i'd also love to see you make a genuine gravy using wagyu a5 beef, that would be heavenly!

While we’re correcting each other, words that end in “A” make an “A” sound. Like idea is pronounced idea not ideer. Also, “H” doesn’t make an “A” sound. It makes a “huh” sound. Like for example the name Harry isn’t pronounced Airry it’s pronounced Harry with a H sound at the beginning. Not an A sound.

I knew the msg would be better. A few months ago I had the opportunity to try a marble score 9 Wagyu which was $65 and a few days later a marble score 6 Wagyu that was dry aged for $45. Hands down the dry aged was better even with the lower marble score. Dry aged is the natural way to get msg onto the steak. What I would love to see Guga do is a standard dry aged Wagyu A5 vs Wagyu with added MSG to see if there is a difference now we know the msg steak is better than without it.

Yorkshire pudding Tips!!, as an English person who eats these every Sunday with a roast, please believe me when I say "cook the Yorkshire puddings (yorkies) in muffin tins!" Get 12 of those bad boys on the go. Smaller is better Small soft crispy and less time to cook, more satisfying to see them rise too! They make Perfect little delicious bowls to put food in or scoop up sauce. Cook in beef or pork fat, not oil, and get it sizzling hot first! Then any left over, have them with strawberry jam (jelly?) as a pudding with cream or ice cream. You will be amazed how versatile they are! Thanks for the steak vids I marinated bacon loin and belly in *MSG* then smoked the cuts in the smoker, then cooked in oven. Was the best thing I ever ever tried! You made our christmas this year. Will try wagyu next! Keep it up! Woop! Peace and love

I think he means Wagyu specifically since the high fat content makes it much harder for one person to consume. Imagine eating a small bucket of lard, you'll likely get sick before you finish. So you can share Wagyu instead among a few people, and its much easier finish.
