I had the same 5hp model and sold it when I got divorced. Finally was able to buy a house again....with 6 huge oak trees along the stone walls. I found the 8hp model some guy was selling that looked close to brand new! The thing with any chippers is keeping the blades sharp! I also converted mine to an 8" pickup hose. The 6" would clog with small branches and twigs. It's great for cleaning out by the stone walls. Great video! Thanks!

Best small homeowner chipper I've ever had. Sure you already found it but lower safety unplugs if you're not careful putting it together too much tension on it. I didn't care because it was the reason I got my barely used chipper for free the guy couldn't figure out why it kept shutting off. Hope you got the front vacuum attachment

Thanks for watching and the comment. I can tell you that it is definitely weaker than my Craftsman 9hp chipper. I think that any time you combine tools like vac and chipper.....its never as good as the stand alone tool. Always a tradeoff. Good luck with your project.

@@DavidWeidner10 How about the vacuuming? Still would be very valuable to demonstrate how the product performs.

It looks like you got new wheels for the chipper. Do you mind sharing where you got them? I've been looking everywhere.

Thanks for watching and the comment. Unfortunately I can't help because I didn't get new wheels. Those were what was on it when I got it! I think this was barely used.

I have the same machine, trying to get it running. New carb, gas, etc.. Question: On the driver's side, there are two black wires coming from under the deck with screw terminals. On mine, one is screwed to the engine, the other is connected to air. Do you know what that one is supposed to be connected?

Thanks for the comment! Sorry though, I have sold the machine so....I can't check. I think that all of the safety wires.....simply ground out when the switches are not "pressed" meaning....if the sections of the air tubes get pushed apart somehow....the ignition grounds out via the switch and prevents the motor from running.

@@shawngleason1345 Oh good idea! I hadn't thought of that. I bought a spark tester (has a little light inside when there's fire). I'll keep that in mind. Thanks man...
