Our Prophet Muhammad (MPBUH) gave women equal spiritual rights in a time when they were treated like objects by pagan custom. The Holy Quran, likewise admonishes Muslims to treat their women with fairness, respect and dignity. If Omar attempted to restrict his sister and wives he was wrong. He had NO religious authority to go against our Prophet's (MPBUH) Hadith or the Holy Quran! The 1st 3 Caliphs were only politically leaders with no rights to modify our Prophet's sunnah.

Wrong, they were SAHABAHS. COMPANIONS of the prophet ﷺ. We take from the quran, the sunnah of rasulullah ﷺ , the tabieen and tabi’tabieen. Please do not speak so lowly of them, they narrated thousands of ahadith, they were not merely ‘political leaders’. The sunnah has not been modified. It has been applied to current modern society, where we live in an era of extreme fitnah and it is not fardh upon the woman, while it is upon a man which is the main thing. They are not discouraged not to attend, it is just not emphasised on them. The times of fitanah we live in people do not ascribe to correct clothing or behaviours to enter the masjid house of Allah and be in the presence of men. Please consult a scholar upon this and you will understand why the aalimah, who studied for many years, says the things she did with evidences. May Allah make it easy.
