I've lost fat eating junk food. You've just got to stay under your calorie limit. But when you're on a calorie deficit it becomes harder to justify that junk food because you'd rather prioritise filling meals.

@@Megsquats Great question! It truly depends on my goals. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. Headed to the doctor to ensure all was well with me and the hubby. We got the greenlight that all is well. So now the goal is to get in as much nutrients as possible for upping the chances of pregnancy. We are in our 30s and eating healthier can only benefit our chances. With this - I have to remind myself that tracking everything right now seems to be a lot more stressful than it is fun. So my focus now has turned to tracking food as way to see just how much nutrients and protein I'm getting in while maintaining a healthy way of thinking about food. And you wanna know what has helped this?? Your nutrition courses. I'm in love with all the good information. Coming from a family of body builders and football players, these courses spoke to me in a way I can understand! Truly. I think a combination of understanding what's going into your body, what exercises you're doing, and the goals you have in mind truly determine the way you'll track food. And I can only express my gratitude about how you feel about food in general even the processed stuff. cuz a girl needs her Reese's peanut butter cups every once in awhile.

I tried creatine and really did not see much difference. The other thing is if you have had any type of kidney problems, then stay away from creatine. If you don't drink enough water with it 2 - 2.5 L for women and 3 - 3.5 L for men, it could cause kidney stones from dehydration.

Cutting carbs (in the form of overly processed grains and sugars) didn't do a ton for fat loss (I lost maybe 2-3 pounds, nothing major), but what it DID do was cut back on some major bloating I had from eating those foods. Having PCOS royally screws up my hormones, which screws up a bunch of other stuff, and I never knew about the harmful link between having PCOS (and looking like you're 4-5 months pregnant on some days) and glucose, until I stopped feeding my body those overly-processed carbs and those symptoms drastically reduced. Crazy!

HII QUESTION!!! thank u for this video❤️ I'm about 10-15g short of protein per day. I learned in school that our bodies can't absorb more than 30g of protein per meal, so i hit about 25-30 per meal and have limited time in the day to eat with my work schedule. If i eat more than 30g of protein will it still help aid in increasing muscle mass? I am doing cross training; strength training/teaching group fitness classes and trying to lose fat while building muscle :)

I would not have been able to maintain a calorie deficit if I didn’t budget in a double stuf Oreo as my post-workout treat! So important for my sanity! I’m wondering if you can expand a little bit on creatine. Is it “worth it” for beginners, or is it best for people in certain training situations?

How is yogurt, bacon, and eggs etc a ‘healthy’ breakfast that would justify ice cream? Processed meat plus all the other high saturated fats... those are proven to be carcinogenic already... that ain’t health food.
