Can this be used for the kitchen sink? People who used to live at the house used a putty which now is acting like a concrete. They used it on both the faucet sink handles and on the sink itself. We don’t have money to do a kitchen remodel so I was going to do what you did here. Hopefully it works.

For a kitchen faucet, if the nuts holding the faucet underneath can't be removed, then use a drill with a drill bit to cut the nuts, then you should be able to remove the faucet.

@@swilson6206 the thing is it’s the classic one handle that uses a hex screw but looks like they glued it shut because it looks to be stripped. I’m thinking that’s why they decided to use some sort of plumbers putty. Once it hardened it’s as hard as a cement glue.

A drill bit should cut the nut. If not, you will have to cut it with a hack saw.
