This was the 70s!!! A different time, a different scene, There were great clubs in Boston then. !!! This brings back memories of going out, listening to live music, new bands,in the middle of a disco era.
the bass player for Cap't Swing was Todd Roberto, my cousin Glenn Evans was on drums

What did Ben Orr play? Was Elliot Easton there yet?

@@MisterMikeTexas I think at this point Benjamin just sang lead and I guess filled in instrumentally as needed(he played various instruments during his career, he started as a drummer, moved to guitar, played lead and rythm(preferred rythm), played bass, generally whatever was needed, Elliot Easton was in Cap N Swing.

Ric often looked like somebody's aunt. In one vid here on KZitem he's wearing a pink blazer with a pin on the lapel that I believe he borrowed from my aunt Edna.

Capn Swing is interesting lot; I hear lots of different genres and styles. Some kinda of pre new wavy Steely Dan thing going on.

I believe Milkwood did a slower version of this song. In the Milkwood version, Ocasek sang the song.
