My sister and I saw Carl Anderson live on this tour. My sister, Marcella, was battling breast cancer, and somehow, by some miracle, we were invited to meet Carl Anderson. My sister, daughter, and I sat in Carl's dressing room for over an hour talking to him. He was giving my sister such inspiration and strength . We didn't know at the time that he too was battling cancer. They both died one day apart. My sister on 2/22/ 2004 and Carl on 2/23/2004. I believe he needed the time with my sister as much as she needed the strength from him.I will never forget the graciousness Carl Anderson gave. God bless both Carl and my sister Marcella.

@@jennifertrudgeon-bone6234 wow. How lucky to have such a beautiful soul like Carl as a friend. He was incredible . A day I'll never forget. I have 5 children and they all grew up listening to me sing along with the soundtrack and movie. They all love it. My middle daughter called me 2 weeks ago and told me she had bought two tickets for the two of us to see Jesus Christ Superstar on June 25th in Richmond. She was the daughter who was with me when we met Carl. I'm so excited. Things have been pretty awful in my life lately but this will definitely make me happy.

I saw him on this tour when I was 5 years old. My dad had met the cast at a bar the night before the show and managed to get backstage passes for us.
