I just learned some critical interval and note relationship stuff which enabled more eloquent piano and guitar work on my part. Wow. Amy N also helped me see certain things this way. Your vid included the keys and some notation though. all 7 steps, all harmonic relationships, and some beat issues... all became more clear. TYVM for bothering to film and publish this. I found it useful and I think that you are very kind for sharing such matters.

Thank you so much, can't wait to record my own version and tag you. It was more understanable that you put the notes above your own notation system. (as I have a D-kurd too, more easy to me to understan the tutorial with the notes)

Glad the notes are working for you, I wanted to put info up for as many different people as I know everyone learns so differently! So pick whichever is clearest for you and go with that!! 👍🏾

Thank you so much, Rosie! This is one of my favorite Christmas Carols. I will not manage all of your inspirations till my little family Christmas concert, but I try. Greetings from an absolute beginner from Germany.

That's the best way to start! And slowly you may speed it up but it's better to have good accuracy slower before you get to tangled up 😂

This is amazing! I am actually getting it. This is also giving me some ear training and using my brain to know the notes on my pan! I am loving it. Thank you for doing this. Next year, I will be ready to share with others. #RosieBergonzi

The numbering system confuses me because in the We wish You A Merry Christmas video you use different numbers for the notes. If you are playing a DKurd it seems the notes and your numbers would be the same?

I love this! I don't have a "kurd" but mine is the "tank" drum. I'm pretty sure it's in C minor scale and is 11 notes. Not sure if this could translate to mine. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
@RosieBergonzi

Heya, yes if yours is C minor then you just need to walk a step... My D = your C, E=D F=E and don't worry about sharps or flats or anything! 😊 Hope that helps!
