Man..our Piccadilly closed down. You’re a lifesaver. I’ve eaten this since I was a child. Always attacked it first, then my food.

New Sub here. Thanks for this awesome recipe. My fave from Piccadilly. I knew you were from Louisiana when you started talking, before scrolling down and seeing LOUISIANA.⚜This is definitely gonna be on the Thanksgiving table in a couple of days. I'm a West Bank transplant living in Gulfport, MS and go to or pass through Slidell pretty often. Thanks again...gonna check out your other recipes.

@TheSandersKitchen

If it’s cooked at a lower temperature it may not crash but I can’t guarantee it. If you want great photos, you’ll need to take them as soon as it comes out of the oven.

@TheSandersKitchen

Honestly, I’d stick to fresh. Cans seem to add flavor. What’s weird is that I love some canned veggies and beans. But for my desserts, I just stick to fresh fruits and veggies.

If you’re talking about Piccadilly, all Piccadilly restaurants in our area of Louisiana have closed. I’m not thrilled about that but they just weren’t busy. I looked up Piccadilly and there seems to be several still open but no where near us. So I can’t answer that question about Cod fish. Thanks for the great comment. Made me dig up some info on Piccadilly. 👍🏼😎

Hi! Do you have a weight for how much carrots you are adding after you peel them? I use baby carrots so they are pre-peeled but I imagine I should use about 2.5lb to account for the peels that you discarded
@TheSandersKitchen

I would say just use the 3 pounds. I doubt I had 1/2 pound in peelings.
