Your a sheer animal with that tyre, absolute beast. Getting ‘er done, no matter what. I don’t see this often, men wanting to get it done, earn the money they are paid and finish the job. You’d get 6 months full pay on sick after that job where I work, then reduced duties upon return and all your leave.

Christ Warren I thought you lost that tire a few times. Wrastling those big tires will give you a hemorrhoid or a hurt back real quick. Might aughta bring that big Son of yours back to help put that SOB back together. I'd like to see that spindle thread chaser your taking about. And your right about fighting bolts and rounding them off from prior knob headed goobers with a one inch impact set on hammer. Great video Sir and as always I sure enjoy them all.

That ain't going to be cheap from CAT! Good job did not wreck the spindle. Much chance of picking up a used spare? The locking place on the nut must of allowed it to come loose? Trouble with job like this is by the time the operator notices there's a problem it already too late and the damage is done. Good job he did not press on and try to keep running it! We had one do just that on a JCB loader and the damage was severe. " been like that a few days". That cost him big!

Make yourself a clamp or something to grip those big wheels so you can crane them. Time well spent and you will not run the risk of wrecking your lower back. Once it's broke it's broke and you'll have all the time in the world.

Do you have any Sickle-Back Wrenches? They're great for rounded off nuts & bolts if you have room to use them. I'm not sure if they still make them, mine are from my Grandfather. You might have to hunt the flea mkt's or the internet. Everyone laughs when I pull out the old Sickle-back, or the 36" Chain Pipe Wrench. But they don't laugh when they see how well they work.

I see you are not the type of man who gives up on a garment just because of a few missing stitches.. Nothing a few stitches and a little time won't fix....... Pick up with your knees and not your back. Those 518's are some tough machines. They have a lot of power for a four cylinder machine. I know it is time consuming to use the crane but I would hate to see a video where you were hurt lifting something............

I put the camera on my hat so I am not constantly moving the camera to the perfect position because I don't have time due to being extremely busy . So sorry for making videos trying to help people out by showing them how to repair some of their own equipment after busting my ass all day .
