A beautiful song about a man realizing how he didn't give his woman the simple things that she asked for, and then wanting to reconcile after realizing that no matter how much he search, he won't find another that can give the love that he received from his lady love. Beautiful....just beautiful. If anyone reading this is going thru this, I wish you the most abundant love life that life can bring. ❤💕💓💖💞

Rena Day was so beautiful. I grew up on this song. It's a shame music like this is in the past, and simplistic love as well.

Growning up with the Golden Era of The Best Music was out of this world...The meaning in the songs back then hit home! Always jamming to The Old School Music!..🔥🔥🔥🔥

During the 90s I came acquainted with this song when I bought this mail order, really nice stereo, equipped with record player, cassette player, and cd player all in one. I had a tape of hits from 1983, and this was one of the songs on there. I've always been a lover of classic music. I just feel it a bit more and it feels more genuine to me. I played this song out because of its feel good vibe. Love soul music!
