Well played, I have added this to my "This Dude Nailed It" Playlist. I had the pleasure of meeting Stuart and the lads. Great band.

I'm trying to work out the part from 30s to 41s. chord shapes. is there a fingerpicking tab for this part? thanks.

Hey - glad you liked it! I don't have any tabs for this, it's just an something I came up with a few years ago. But I'll try to describe the shapes a little. First, my guitar is tuned to drop D. For the first chord, I'm holding the 9th fret on the 6th string with my ring finger. On the three treble strings, I'm holding a mini-barre across the 7th fret with my index. That leaves my pinky free to hit the 10th fret on the B string. The second chord shape is just using my index finger to barre across the D,G,B strings at the 7th fret (doing a D chord) and using my pinky again on the B 10th fret again. The second time around, the chord shape is basically an A half-barre, using the open A string as the bass. I can try to tab the whole thing out sometime. If trying to learn by watching and listening, I would try to separate out the bass notes (which is just alternating on the three bass strings) and learn the melody parts separately, and then join it together.

@@DropD1123 Great version and guitar work. For the lead section what is the shape you play when you move down from the 7th fret bar (with 9th fret bass om and off). Have you dropped the high E to D or just bass E to D?

@@stuartmacgregor6878 Thanks for the kind words. I'm only dropping the low E to D, so the high E stays. When it moves to the 5th fret, it's basically just an A chord (F chord shape but the 5th string A is open playing the root). But on the first melody note of that measure, my pinky is fingering the B on the 7th fret of the high E string, which then resolves to the A on the 5th fret which is held down by my index finger. I hope that makes sense. I really do need to put together a tab or instructional video, because it's a great song that people should be out playing!

Brilliant .. loud and clear and tried it out and 100% solid .. you are a top guy cheers. Absolutely, a truly great song. I saw Big Country live a few times in Glasgow and even had back stage passes to one gig courtesy of Bruce Watson after chatting to him in a guitar store on day of the gig. They were stunning live especially at the Glasgow Barrowlands
