By far the easiest way to do it! I don’t think people know about that drain plug because I certainly didn’t. Btw, if my washer starts and then turns off, what could be the issue?

@@cruzbridge I would start with cleaning the carburetor out. If you let these newer “throw away” engines sit with fuel in it (especially if you put in 10% ethanol fuel) it will plug your atomizer and your jet up with crap. Eventually you’ll get some fuel in the bowl but once you start it again it will run out of fuel. If that doesn’t do it, change your plug. If it cracks the ceramic it can short out and run sporadically. If that doesn’t do it, come to central Wisconsin and we’ll figure it out together 😉

My general has two areas to check oil…should I be putting the oil in both places or it doesn’t matter

It doesn’t matter. I saw that I have 2 places too. There is only one dipstick that I see though.

When draining oil remove dipstick so oil will drain quicker into pan. Are you a barber? I see the barber chair in your garage.

No, lol. I bought those at an auction last year. I bought 5 of them for $20. I must admit they’re pretty comfortable. If you’re near central Wisconsin come over and I’ll give you one😀

I used synthetic 5w30 but I’m not sure what the manufacturer states. I would guess the same

My Generac spec calls for 20 oz 10w-30.

I didn’t get an owners manual with mine. I would guess that probably a good oil to use for summer use. I personally put 5W30 synthetic oil in mine. I had it on the shelf and I’ve had good luck with that weight on all my small engines. I do appreciate the info though. 20 ounces would make sense. You’ll see when you pull the dipstick that is at such a goofy angle that it’s hard to tell. Thanks again

@@internetuser3213 no. Just changing the oil is sufficient according to the manufacturer.
